Shri Bijay Devra

It is extremely difficult to describe the splendours of Shri Nathji Maharaj in words. We can only feel them ourselves gradually. We consider ourselves very fortunate being in his shelter. We lose all fear of this world, get mental strength and feel complete happiness. Generally we obtain Shri Nathji’s blessings in all our important works. Whatever our family has achieved is solely due to the blessings of Shri Nathji Maharaj. Whenever I have had some kind of tension or worry, I have resorted to my venerable Guru and found myself free of all tensions.

In 1986, the doctors announced that my mother was suffering from a very serious disease, and said that the disease was in its second stage. They could not even tell us the time limit. When Guru Shri Narharinathji Maharaj, the present friar of the ashram, came to know about it, he asked my mother not to worry and to do all the important works of her life. And that blessing saved our mother for us for 10 more years. This is what a holy man’s words do. Like this, our family has prospered due to the blessings of our venerable guru. He has told us that work is the greatest thing in life, and we must believe in our own work. He taught us that salvation lies in helping others. Everyone lives for oneself. Doing something good for someone else should be one’s motto in life. Life should have a goal, an objective other than our responsibilities towards our families. I am not being able to realize these due to my own psychological shortcomings. I pray to Shri Nathji for relinquishing our shortcomings, for enabling our entire family to remain as servants at his feet and for making us worth of propagating his light across the world. The way our great Guru has bonded all the devotees of Shri Nathji into a family, it is a matter of great pride for us.

I would like to commemorate that divine soul here, who made it possible for us to be on this path. She was my maternal grandmother Late Mrs. Triveni Devi Khemka, who was a saint herself. She showed our whole family the way to Shri Nathji’s devotion. Whenever we got her company, there was only one subject she spoke about – description of Shri Nathji Maharaj’s glory. We always miss her.
